Philippe Messier and Nicolas Grosbois extended their Loire based WINO project and travel to four other regions of France to share their knowledge and work with four other young winemakers "Les Quatre" to make wines which best represent their terroir. 

The "big four" along with Nicolas and Phillippe want to make wines to be drunk with friends. Production is deliberately small with a focus on making delicious, uncomplicated and thirst-quenching wines.  

Farming and Winemaking

Philippe and Nicolas only work with vignerons who farm organically and share the same low-intervention philosophy in the cellar. These are small production, artisan wines made with native yeasts and traditional techniques. Long, slow fermentations, elevage in concrete, minimal racking, careful handling of the juice: all aimed at preserving fresh fruit, acidity and vitality.
